[Fot] exhaust PCV

Sounds to me a bit like manmade climate change stories.

If the there is anything exploding, the rubber hose will pop off. But how should this happen?

We are not having  dragster machines.

Ignition of vapors on the wrong side of the pistons can cause rather spectacular exhaust problems. As in there are little bits of piston stuck in the exhaust. Or little bits of engine block stuck in anyone standing nearby.

Be aware that the some sanctioning bodies do not allow the use of the exhaust to be connected to the crankcase for ventilation purposes.  The SCCA does not allow it.  Joe(B)

While back we were talking about venting motors, and today I saw this. One of our group had described this, and here is a good picture of it in practice. Exhaust in essence siphons / vacuums pressure out of the motor.  I increased the size and number of vent lines to the catch can and solved my problem, but this is an interesting alternative.
