For those of you in the Northeast the VARAC event in June is one not to
miss. If you've been there before you know what I mean. There is a huge
paddock with lots of parking; there's a fantastic feed on Friday that has
multiple offerings at various locations in the paddock along with beverages.
There are two bands that really put on a terrific show. Then there's the
track itself which is an instant addiction.

Banquet follows on Saturday night.  Lots of seat time here folks!

 

On top of all this VARAC is offering a $100 discount for anyone registering
before the first of the year. 

Border crossings are easy and fast. 

 

They actually do speak English with a few "ehhs" tossed in liberally and
just a few new terms to learn. Tech will be done in conformity with the
sanctioning body you are a member of. I can answer any questions regarding
Tech as I will be doing it again working with VARAC.

 40th YEAR!  VARAC Vintage Grand Prix

Please plan to join us for the 40th running of the VARAC Vintage Grand Prix
being held June 13-16, 2019 on the Mosport Grand Prix track at the Canadian
Tire Motorsport Park.

Classes include Vintage (pre 1962), Historic (pre 1973), Classic (pre 1999),
and Formula Classic (monoposto race cars).  In addition, once again we will
have the Toyo Tires F1600 Championship as our guests.


Thursday, June 13 is a Test Day open to competitors looking to gain
experience on this world class circuit.  Please note that drivers that have
not run on the Mosport Grand Prix track previously must attend the Test Day,
or receive a waiver from the Race Director.

NEW FOR 2019 - we are limiting run groups for practice and qualifying
sessions to 40 entries.  This may require us to institute wait lists for
some of our groups.  Please register early so we can adjust the groups to
allow as many entries as possible to run.

NEW FOR 2019 - all entrants, other than than our Toyo Tire F1600
Championship guests, MUST be a member in good standing of a
<http://www.the-vmc.com/member_orgs.htm> Vintage Motorsports Council club.
Non-vintage club racers will not be permitted to enter this event without
the approval of the Race Director.
