Interesting all...VARA on the West Coast allows 1 1/2" over stock, so for a
Spitfire Mk3, 6" is the max...The Toyo R888R 205 60R13 shows a rim width
range of 5.5 - 7.5" on the Tire Rack website:

VARA also only allows DOT rated treaded tires...couldn't tell if R888R is
DOT approved despite the tread...
