[Fot] Fw: Charging a new accusump?

I still have a gearless TR4 dizzy shaft in the toolbox I used for priming after winter storage or a filter change. Chuck it in a 1/2-inch drill in reverse and spin up the pressure before starting. It was real easy with the race car's distributorless ignition, appreciably less so if you have to remove a dizzy.
But if anybody would have a use for it, it's free to the first responder with a shipping address.

Hmmm.... I friend of mine made up a utility tool, a female slotted rod that mates to the oil pump through the distributor mount. We attach a 1/2" variable speed drill, (in reverse) and prime the motor that way. Works well, getting the dizzy in on the correct tooth takes way longer, I'd welcome a a trick there!
