[Fot] Fw: Best spectator vintage event

I can't believe no one has mentioned Watkins Glen.  I grew up 14 miles from there, so I am partial, and that is what got me into road racing.  I'm not too thrilled about it as a driver's track (too much armco), but as a spectator facility it is outstanding.  Many great watching spots all around the 3 1/2 mile long course.  They also do a festival downtown on Friday afternoon, and the race cars take parade laps of the original course, which runs through the town of Watkins Glen.
Also, I haven't been there in 45 years, but Mt. Tremblant, at St. Jovite, North of Montreal is also a wonderful spectator track.  Again, lots of great viewing locations.

Fellow FOT,

If you were taking a car enthusiast (not a racer) to a vintage race anywhere in the country, which one would it be?  Just to watch and see interesting cars.

Thanks,

Chuck
