Apparently the FOT List server did not like my message and only the
individuals got it. So I have stripped the photos and the previous replies
and am trying it again. The photos can be seen at this link:

Since it seems apparent that the hub is the weak point of the Rotoflex rear
suspension, I decided to innovate a system that uses an integrated hub and
outer half-shaft. I had the upright machined to fit the same size outer
bearing as the stock inner bearing. A spacer was cut to fit between the two
bearings to set the bearing load. The outer hub/shaft was machined out of a
block of billet and the inner end was splined to fit a Porche 930 CV-Joint.
In this application I am running a Corvette Diff so I fabricated axles for
that application consisting of yokes that were originally used for
driveshafts that came out of GM automatic transmissions paired with splined
shafts that slide inside. But for GT6 diffs, Moser engineering can provide
axles for a smaller CV-joint such as Clive Averill used (from a VW Rabbit).
I used a VW Bus axle nut to hold the inside flange and the bearing in place.
No more hub failure in this application.
