Further info. I ordered some cometition valve springs & retainers from Ken just about a year ago. That was after his hospital visit, and he sounded good at that time. I received the order right on time, and my check cleared. Unfortunately, he may have gone downhill since then. I hope not, maybe he is just taking a winter break. Ken is quite a guy, and a good friend and helpful technologist (is that a word?) to our hobby. He has a lot of experience and technical knowledge, and he is always willing to share his knowledge (sometimes more than willing). I'm saying a prayer for Ken.

I actually spoke with Ken a few months ago. He had recently returned home from a 2 month stay in the hospital for a broken hip.
He was his usual talkative self, but perhaps feeling the effects of medication. His daughter was in the room with him and I felt he sure could have used her assistance.
I placed an order with him and never received it. I wasn't really surprised and didn't feel that further inquiry would make a difference.

I am having the same experience and was hoping that someone might have updates contact info for BFE. I have tried to reach them via email and phone for a few months with no success.
