[Fot] Brake pads don't fit

Thanks everybody for the great response to my "problem", not too much. 
Thanks for the inside info with Carbotech, John. 
Yes Joe, but the caliper would have to move outward. Tony suggested shimming the carrier. Not a bad idea. I'd like to get the thing centered up. 
The path of least resistance would be to shave the pads. Thanks Bill, for suggesting the respirator. It's nice to know someone cares. Maybe I'll just move my drill press outside. It's a beautiful breezy day here in Santa Cruz and I won't get my shop all dusty. I'll wear a respirator and hold my breath too.

We use Carbotech in my TR3A race car as well. Be sure and tell Mike 
(704-481-8554) they are for your TR3 so they won't make them too thick as 
used in some of the NASCAR applications. My part # is CTGD500-AX6. He has 
a record under my name as to the correct thickness.....

It's not uncommon to have to shim the caliper to center it up. For racing, 
I recommend Carbotech, AX6 compound (www.ctbrakes.com ). We didn't like the 
Hawke Blue's much - needed warmup or they locked easily, were hard on the 
rotors and left little bits of molten rotor stuck in the paint of the wheel.
