<<<- Finally got an answer from SCCA to the question----why are engine vacuum
ystems which connect to the exhaust system prohibited by SCCA?  I didn't
resent an argument  in favor of the system in my original letter, but I did
ay that I have seen them in use in cars raced in other series.
The official response is printed in the April issue of FasTrack which came
out
oday.  It reads, in its entirety, as follows:
"Thank you for your request.  There is no need shown for these systems and
hey create a safety issue if they malfunction".
Does anyone think we can win this "argument"? ->>>

 tend to agree with Russ Moore's take on any battle with SCCA.
While I sure do not have one, and have no real desire for one,
I'd be interested in Jack Woerhle's take if he is still monitoring
this FOT List.
