[Fot] new entry to FOT

Mike, I believe you are on the FOT list, if not please correct me-you should
be, and do you have an e-mail for Pete so I can get him in the group. That
TR-8 is on steroids for sure. Sounded like NASCAR came to town when he lit
it up!

 

Yep, GT-6.....hopefully we helped him and didn't hinder or scare him on the
weekend. It's a difficult concept that "new" parts out of the box are crap
and don't work, but I think he knows that now. The grin filled the helmet by
Sunday and I have to think that day outweighed any problems earlier.

 

Always a great event up there.

three catching my Volvo adversary behind him allowing me the pass!!! GO TEAM
TRIUMPH!! 

 

Vince and his GT6 also participated in the Toronto International Auto Show's
50 years of Triumph  along with my TR4 and Pete Bulkowski's TR8. 

 

It's great to see another Triumph at Mosport (Canadian Tire Motorsports
Park)

 

  And don't forget as a GT6 racer he's going to need all the help he can get
:)

I would like to recommend Canadian Vince Garrett to join the FOT. He races a
very nicely prepared GT6+ and joined us in the Triumph ghetto at Mosport
last weekend. He's a good man and a dedicated Triumph nut who has built his
own car as many of us have. He experienced and overcame some of the problems
a car can toss at you in its early events.
