Not too well I suspect, although that race car is (and always was) a 
gorgeous car.  I can't think of his name right now, but he was a Doctor from 
Mystic, Connecticut who owned it, had it built and vintage raced it some 20-25 
years ago.  Then in quick order, he had it For Sale for $40,000  +/- when he 
was going through a divorce.  At the time, most TRIUMPH folks I knew felt, 
that while price may have represented his investment, more likely it was 
established because he really didn't want to sell it.

I always felt (and have advised) those looking for a race car should seek 
the best car they can, and then negotiate a fair price and buy it.  
Especially those who are unable to do top shelf mechanical work themselves will never 
buy and clunker and then pay to have it converted into a competitive race 
car for what they can buy and race a ready race car.
