Mike,
Most VintageB clubs have one school per year, some have two.
You should first look for the club that suits you or your location. Then make
sure the car
is legal for that club. Not all FoT cars are legal everywhere or so I'm told.
I would get in touch withB the club you choose and see what they suggest for
schools.
Our club, RMVR insists that even if you arrive with an SCCA, NASA or even FIA
license
you still have to do their school so they can drive home the " no contact "
rules and
the whole vintatge spitirit thing. I think most schools around the country can
include
some vintageB instruction in the classroom work on an individual basis thus
making you elegible
for a vintage license. The place to start is really with the club you choose
to run in.
You may even find a driver instructor within that club that can get it done.

Subject: [Fot] Racing license
I bought Gary Horstkorta's TR4 from California and brought it home a few
weeks ago.
B
I need some advice on getting my license. I live in Erie, PA so I am 3-4
hours from Mid-Ohio and Watkins Glen.
B
Do I go through SVRA or another vintage organization? What driving school
should I use (Barber, Mid-Ohio, etc).
B
Basically not sure where to start.
B
I have been running HPDE days for 2 years now, so I am ready for next step.
B
Thanks
Mike
