[Fot] Stolen Race Car

I like the laws for scraping cars here in North Carolina just the way they
are, thank you very much.
You have to have a title if the car is 10 years or less old - no title
required if over 10 years old -and in this case the perps (or at least one of
them) will have left a photo copy of their ID at the metal recycler - had a
title been required, Joe's car could have been reduced to an anonymous pile of
scrap in less than an hour.

Joe - which metal recycler did the car end up at?
I've scraped 2 cars locally at 2 different places - one of which I'll never go
back to.
Would one assume correctly that the scrap yard is out $160?

Anyway, I sure was glad to hear this one turned out the way it did - stealing
a race car in these parts is about like stealing a horse in the old west -
lots of folks think the perps should be hung.

Cheers
Jack Mc
