Somebody should be looking into salvage yard. What legitimate business would
take car like that without title and then only give $160. Looks like they
may have been ready to sell it for a profit.

Well it was a long couple of days but...the trailer is home, I pick up the
race car today and two guys are in jail!  THANKS to all who read and
forwarded the message and kept a look out.  Someone who had seen the posting
saw that the crooks had advertised the trailer on craigslist!!  They let me
and the police know and they were able to catch them.  They had sold the car
to a metal recycler for $160.00!!  I will be out some parts and tie-downs
and some small stuff that probably won't be recovered but I am ecstatic
about the outcome.  The police said that without the fast notice, the car
would have been gone by today or tomorrow at the latest!  Again, thanks to
all.
