Brad,

I think "swivel pin" refers to the virtual kingpin inclination angle (note
that the change from 2 deg + camber to 1/2 deg + between the TR4 and TR4a
alters the swivel pin angle by 1-1/2 degree).  That would be an imaginary line
drawn through both the top and bottom swivel point, be it a trunnion or ball
joint.  1.5 degrees negative should not drastically alter tire life on a
street car.

Note that addition of an anti-sway bar on the front, while it will cause the
car to heel over less, it will also INCREASE understeer, and adding a heavier
aftermarket bar will increase understeer even more.  If you are trying to keep
the body roll under control but didn't like the plowing sensation you were
getting before, you might want to evaluate the benefit of adding a rear
anti-sway bar also, which would counteract the understeer added in by the
front anti-sway bar.
