[Fot] How much do you think a GT6 could tow?

Good point, Bill. I was thinking at stopping at one of the local quarries
and weighing the trailer and Excursion. You've pretty well convinced me not
to do that:) Sort of like the current military, don't ask, don't tell!

I am pretty sure that the those gross vehicle weights and trailer towing
capacities have to include everything the car is 'carrying' ...driver,
passengers, luggage, tools, trailer, race car. You start checking, and
you'll find
that you use up those limits in a hurry. But I also agree that their PYA
syndrome has them use an ample safety factor. My shop is located very close

to a local stone quarry and they have a huge scale they use for measuring
truck loads of stone. Being in the masonry business all those years, I had
access to that scale and used to weigh my tow vehicle and trailer both empty

and loaded. The first time I did that, I was shocked to see how much
'stuff'
I was carrying weighed.
