Blue Crown Spark Plugs were made in my home town of Defiance, Ohio.

They sponsored/equipped multiple Indy 500 winners.

They were very good plugs in the day.

  So for reasons I won't go into at the moment, but you'll likely
  hear about them soon, I'm cleaning up a bunch of stuff in storage
  and the shop.  One dusty old box is filled with vintage spark
  plugs, Blue Crown brand.

  I found an interesting slip of paper packed in one of the boxes.
