I'd like to nominate Mike Mehl to the FOT. Some of you may have met Mike
while
at Portland this past weekend. Mike is the son in law of a good friend
here in
Ohio and comes from a family with Goodyear Racing Tire background. His
father
was very involved with Goodyear's Racing Tire program for much of his
Goodyear
career and I believe was the Director of the program before he retired.
Mike
is building a car that has a long history of racing in the Mid-west and
was
rebuilt by Bill Lynn of VTR fame a number of years ago.
