Heck the curbs (kerbs) are part of the racetrack, albeit lacking some 
grip (non-existent when wet).
If they actually raised them, it's likely gonna tear up a lot more than 
suspension.
Perhaps they should just ban passing in the corners?

I think
that
the kerbs (curbs) should be made
more penal in those areas because they are supposed to
be there to
keep the cars within the
confines of the track.  If they
raised the level of the kerbs, people would not
be so aggressive in trying to pass knowing that if they
don’t pull it off, they
will lose their suspension.

Incidentally, I don't think
Kimi was wrong to shove Hamilton
off the track
in the chicane either. In a competition at that
level you are not owed racing room,
you have to take
it. If Alonso had been in Kimi's
shoes Hamilton
would have lost his right front
wheel.

driver, I was cheering him on while he passed Hamilton at first

In my humble opinion, the penalty is just.

I would have black flagged Hamilton and not even allowed him to
