Great race, torturous ending. I also consider Hamilton's moves to be
perfectly proper.
I AM a Kimi fan, he's a great driver, I was cheering him on while he
passed Hamilton at first and then pulled out a lead, and I was in
agony when he first lost the lead and then hit the wall. But
Hamilton's pass was squeaky clean. I can't see how the FIA could even
countenance a penalty. It was spectacular driving, well within the
cut and thrust of competition and in full compliance with the rules of
surrendering a gain made off track. I believe the FIA has added an
element of over-regulation and fundamental unfairness to the entire F1
scene. I don't care if Max Mosely dresses up like Eva Braun and screws
goats, but his leadership of the FIA has damaged the sport by moving
victory from the driver's seat to the steward's fat ass. For that I'd
support giving him the boot.
