[Fot] What are some good spark plugs for a TR6

Do you think that the BP7ES has any possibility or is it just to cool a
plug for this application? I am looking for some pretty sustained high
revving.

Jim-

The BP6ES's are a good choice. I also favor Champion N12YC's (new stock
# is 38) On Champions, the higher the number, the hotter the plug.
NGK's are the opposite - lower number = hotter. I haven't been at all
impressed with the platinums, etc. If the gas foul, they don't recover
& I've found them to be more prone to missing especially if you have a
stock ignition system. The standard Lucas system doesn't have a high
enough output to deal with resistor plugs & wires. I can't see paying
the premium price for the upscale (?) plugs when the standard,
non-resistor plugs are cheaper & work just fine. That's what I sell to
my customers & haven't had any difficulty for years.
