[Fot] TR3 piston rookie question

Your piston height depends on a couple of factors. Like what rpm's, what head
gasket, etc. For racing the cranks flex and you need more clearance than you
think. I use a steel shim head gasket (0.022 inches compressed) and have had
pistons that were 0.005 inches below the top of the liners still hit the head.
I now leave at least 0.010" clearance at the top of the piston, for a total of
0.032". My rev limiter is set at 7300rpm and the pistons do not hit. Joe(B)

Can anyone tell me the crown height for a stock TR3 piston? If I order
the stock height + .005, will I have enough extra to mill off to get a
zero deck height? As far as I know the block has not been decked in the
past.

Thanks,
