If I were trying to sell a car that people didn't know I wouldn't be  
wasting money on Hemmings (though Perez is going to punch me in the  
nose for saying that next time I run into him). Hemmings is a great  
place for cars that people are LOOKING for--not many people thumb  
through those zilliions of fine print pages. I'd be shooting all  
kinds of pictures and a video of it, put it on eBay with a long  
auction and the reserve set high, put the pictures in the  
advertisement and also on Flickr and other picture sharing sites, put  
the videos on youtube and google video and link to and from  the  
advertisement, put it on craigs list. Make it so thousands of people  
could see the advertisement. Tell a story in the ad--explain why it's  
such a cool car.

But then I'm a crazy advertising guy.
