Amici,

When I built the Pantera, I made sure it met BOTH SCCA Solo and NHRA regs, as
I ran both.

That has been much more of a challenge with the TR, as NHRA does not sanction
rag tops.  Nevertheless, I have met and exceeded, in spirit, their regs for
9-sec cars.

Some have argued that since I am at best able to do 14 ETs that I am going
overboard
on safety, I reply that hitting the wall at 90mph is worthy of extreme
measures in mitigation.

Safety first.  Reliability second.  Performance last.  I'd rather finish a
race in any place
than momentarily lead and DNF.
