I ran the idiot light wire to a bulb I mounted below the dash. It has to be an incandescent bulb, not LED, in order to trigger the charging. At least that’s the way mine works.

Bought a 7127-SEN one wire alternator on Amazon for $21.37 (Includes $8.xx Ohio sales tax)!
Sounds impossible? Well, signing up for a new Amazon Visa card got me a $100 gift card, leaving only $13.xx and sales tax!
My question is, do I need the extra 2 wires, a "sensing" wire and ? Can I wire the output to the original output to keep the Amp meter working, or should it go straight to the battery?
This is all under the hood of a 1968 1600.

I promise, this will be my last alternator question!________________________________________
