The Volvo has a connection to the roadster in that there are upgrades to the roadster brakes that use Volvo parts.   I don’t think there would be any interest in used Volvo parts though for a roadster application  
On another note though don’t be so quick to junk a 240. There is a resurgence in interest in the 140/164 /240 and 260 series.  I personally am doing a 164E restoration.  There would be demand for many of the parts.  Check out the Volvo boards on Facebook
