[Roadsters] Shaking Engine

What is your idle set at? I know that when the idle was set too low on the webers on my stroker the engine rocked like a baby's cradle on speed.

Are your carbs synced? If the carbs are not synced this can make the engine shake. Once I synced the carbs on my stroker the shaking decreased.

I am far far far from an expert but have never read that the timing chain can cause the engine to shake. I supposed if your timing is wacked by a bad timing chain then you can get the shakes. I'd explore the easy stuff before the major surgery.

I've had my 2000 Roadster for over a year and the engine has always shaken a lot when idling. This is starting to bother me. My mechanic says it might need a new timing chain which might be a good idea regardless. He tells me it's not related to engine mounts or anything like that. Just wanted to check to see if anyone else has had a similar issue before turning it over to him for an expensive timing chain job. Thanks for your help.
