I think I can really speak to that issue.  

I had several claims in a very short period.  during that same time, my wife’s car was hit by someone with no insurance, so we had to file a claim with our regular insurance carrier.

before that, and since then, I’ve had no claims with my new insurance company or my regular insurance company (still the same one).

I think you know where I am going with this.  Hagerty paid the claims promptly, and I took the opportunity to have some items replaced that were in the vicinity but weren’t actually damaged.   so they pay claims promptly, and generously.  but they decided I was a bad risk, and mentioned my wifes claim as part of the reason.

I’ll put in a plug for Philadelphia Indemnity Insurance Company (Grundy Worldwide); they are my new carrier and have really great rates.  1-888-6GRUNDY

I've been with them for about 10 years. Great to deal with. I also have coverage from them on project cars. Like others though, I have no claim experience.
