[Roadsters] Shipping Greyhound

I recently shipped two roadster rear quarter panels to Massachusetts.
The first one, along with a tail panel, went UPS. They packaged it,
insured it, and delivered it 4 days later for $260. Smooth as silk,
undamaged, and I tracked its progress on line.
The second one, minus a tail panel, and in a box I made in the garage,
went Greyhound. I had to drive about 20 miles to ship it and at the other
end, the buyer had to drive about 20 miles to pick it up since Greyhound
only ships depot to depot. Twenty four hours after I dropped it off, it
was lost. Their online tracking never did show it at all. Started with
the phone calls and both of us called every day. Six days later, it showed
up in Worcester, safe and sound. But it was a nerve racking 6 days. Cost
via Greyhound, $69.75.
Still not sure how you lose a 6' long package, but at least it got there
undamaged and for $190 less.
