Hello Rich,

Were you using Solex/Mikunis? Were the carbs equalized in pressure to the
air box?

Did you start to lean out as the pressure increased?

Thank you,

Nolan

You don't want a sealed air box you need a hole at the back for air to get
out. Has been tried and does not work. All my Coswrth engine air boxes had
a hole at the bck or bottom and this is on a Formula car.

We had moved the expansion tank to the passenger side and opened up the core
support in front of the carbs to build a ram air box. One of the trapezoid
filters up there could be a solution with a sealed air box.

Any examples would be appreciated.

All my best,

Nolan
