[Roadsters] Steering Wheel

Steering wheel: we are looking at that right now. We had to repair the turn
signal mechanism as the spring that connected the two cams beacame caught and
bound up in the hub. We are attempting to fit a grant aftermarket hub/wheel.
I found a grant mounting kit that sort of fit, but we had to cut down the
cover so it won't rub on the housing and activate the horn. looks like we
have that down and just need a decent wheel/horn button. The problem is
finding one that is wider than modern wheels and is fairly flat (less dish),
but still has a thicker grip, all for a decent price. haven't looked at Momo
or Sparco, etc.

Greetings - it was in the low 80s today. Perfect weather for the car.
I have my car back after nearly two months and it's driving great for nearly
50 years. The carbs need to be re-built - it idles high, and I have ordered
from Z-therapy although I won't do the work immediately.
Question to the group: how do I remove the steering wheel and, has anyone
experimented with a smaller wheel - a Momo perhaps?
As always, thanks for the input.
ps: if anyone is in the Austin area, BBQ's on me and I will bring my list of
questions.
Stay well,
Rick
