[Roadsters] automatic transmission

Physical issues are the prime reason I'll be selling my '70 2000 as soon as
I get the carpet kit installed and do a little work on the rear brakes.
Last summer I was dealing with back problems and now I'm looking at a knee
replacement as soon as I can get off of Plavix. Yes, the past year has been
interesting for me health wise. Plus a Roadster's really not fun during
Texas summers, especially like we had last year. It's hard to believe our
first 2000 was our only car for almost a year after we bought it new in the
spring of '70. Of course, being in our early 20s might have had something
to do with it!

All that said, I'm working on getting my '73 510 2-Dr. going again. It's
whole lot easier to get in and out of, and if I want I can put A/C in it. I
even have the under dash part of the A/C that was on it when I bought the
car in SoCal in '84. With a built L-20b, 5 speed and 4.11 or 4.38 gears
it'll be a lot of fun to drive.
