[Roadsters] Volvo brake system problem

  hi paul,  first, ck. the rear brks. for the shoes being adj. too tight. the
rear wheels should
turn easily, with a slight drag. then, have some one  apply the brakes, and
see if they
(frt. and rear) turn easily, as soon as the brks. are released.( you are cking
for calipers
dragging, wheel cyl. sticking, or brake hoses restricted). you can jack up one
side
of the car, and ck each of those wheels,on one side, at a time
   next, ck. the rod going from the master cyl.(bmc) and make sure, when you
first move
the brake pedal a little, that there is a tiny bit of free play. in other
words, make sure
the brk. pedal isnt pre- loading the bmc. if it has no free play, then as the
car and
brks warm up, its like  some one is riding the brk pedal.  if all seems ok,
then
you need to remove the bmc, and rebuild it or replace it. btw, im assuming
there is no brake booster.
