[Roadsters] Distributor wire question?

Ken,

The distributor has NO external wires by itself.  The condenser has a wire 
which is connected to the distributor body (ground).  There is a terminal 
adjacent to the cap to which the wire coming from the negative (downstream 
from the ignition lead) side of the ballast resistor is connected.

There is also a wire internal to the distributor which goes from an 
insulated connector where the ballast resistor lead enters to the hot side 
of the points.  There is a secon internal wire which goes from the breaker 
plate to a ground connection on the distributor body.

If your car has had the NAIS (Nissan Air Injection System) removed, and the 
distributor has been re-curved to pre-emission standards, the vacuum line 
connects to a little copper nipple on the top of the front carb.  The 
connection on the intake manifold was for use with the NAIS.
