[Roadsters] early 67 hood prop rod

I have a '66 with prop on passenger side (LHD car), but a later model hood
(I think). 

Lemme know if you need more pics.

Yep, the early cars had the prop rod on the side where the driver sat
(Japanese market at the time) while the later cars swapped over to "our"
side.

My 67 has a newer hood, so I had to build the little prop rod hood
connection
and screw it into the hood, and it still has the unused tab on the other
side.

Its a lot easier to build a hood tab than the sliding slot on the inside lip
of the fender.  I will send pics of my setup, as it seems to be exactly what
you need also.
