I've bolted bunches of parts on my Datsun Roadster. These include a Supercharger from a Buick, a rear differential from an RX7, and shock absorbers from a Honda dirt bike. Does that make them Datsun Roadster parts? In my opinion, if he doesn't say it is OEM then you shouldn't expect it to be OEM. Andy
