I have no connection to this seller whatsoever, but am curious as to
this accusation.

His ad states the following:

"up for bid is a reverse light for the datsun roadster it is in very
good condition the braket has a bit of rust as seen in photo but the
light is very good no rust and the glass is supper nice. you will be
very happy with this... it can be used on all roadsters 63-70"

There are 10 pictures, taken from every angle, and they seem to
accurately show the item, and the pictures reflect the condition he
claims in his ad.

So where's the "deliberately worded to mislead" accusation coming from?
If you're going to make accusations like that about a seller, you should
be able to back them up, otherwise, you're just making slanderous claims.
