[Roadsters] Fun - but tiring

Saturday got up at 5:30 - off to Riverside for a SOCALROC run to Big Bear for
a car show (mostly rods - not my thing - but beautifully designed, executed
and painted) - saw a teal that would look great on a roadster. then a bbq at
the Dicksons and then to Monterey for day 3 of the historics - like Joseph and
Mary - NO accomodation to be found between Paso Robles and Salinas. Finally
slept in the car @ 3AM (thank god for mazda reclining seats) under a tree to
stop the mist from settling and helped by the soporific effects of Mr
Smirnoff. Watched all the races except for the F1 final and drove back to LA.
Speedo indicates 900 miles driven in 2 days.
One of the race cars was a Zagato bodied DB4 - totally polished aluminum (and
flawless) - value - in excess of $2 MILLION - and he was RACING it - great
couple of days.
