[Roadsters] choke high idle

using narrow feeler gauges, what would be the butterfly opening spec for the
high idle? yhe OEM manual said 6 degrees angle from idle position. with old
carbs drawing air from places other than the venturi and loose linkage not
opening soon enough or far enough choke high idle goes lower and lower. s'pose
fooling with it ok, just make both carbs the same, measure w uni-syn
