This is a bit Shameless Self Promotion, but..

 

I have just finished my really big article for NissanSports next issue...
with pictures it will run over 50 pages in 5 sections(25,000 words!)... 50
years of nissan in the US, plus the most comprehensive Datsun/Nissan racing
history ever published anywhere, let alone in one magazine.

Every american model gets mentioned, from the first 210 to the newest
Altima... I talked to Bob Sharp and John Morton about their days in
roadsters. There are some great stories I dug out of the cobwebs from old
company people and old and new racers... Bob Sharp to George Alderman to
John Knepp to John Morton to Steve Millen. You will learn something new
about the car or cars and Datsun people you know and love...  

 

If it works out as good as i hope (the NissanSport guys rebuilt the whole
magazine to fit my writing, instead of telling me to edit it to fit... how
cool is that!) this will as landmark an issue for all Datsun/Nissan guys -
it cannot compete in the same level of detail as the intensive work of
people like Rob Beddington,  but it does give the roadster props for being
the original Datsun racer. 

 

Automotive journalists I talked to in my telephone travels are special
ordering it as their new reference benchmark on Nissan.

 

Did I mention I have cancer?(was that too much?)
