[Roadsters] Tonneau Cover Question

Hey List,
I got this Tonneau Cover real cheap. the head rest pockets were sewn
shut (poorly done) and it was said to be for a '68 Roadster.  I have a
'66 and since it was cheap... Well, it is not fitting, to narrow and
comes up a bit short on the dash.  Are the driving compartments that
different with the years?
