[Bricklin] Electrical issue

I don't understand the voltage dropping to 0 when you turn the ignition switch,
but it sounds like you're amp gauge is not connected.

Yes, but you'll have to make a jumper to plug into the amp gauges 
connectors.  The amp gauge is in series with the electrical system, 
so if it is open, or no connection between the 2 large wires (Red and 
Black) then you won't have any
power to anything except the doors and the starter solenoid and those 
items that
come directly off the ignition switch.
