The compressor used was (re: Scott) York T 210 L . York made 8 other,
stronger units that fit in the same case, which I have chosen to use quite
successfully over many years. They cost a bit more, but you will benefit much
more, and they fit perfectly. If you go to a knowledgeable A/C dealer or re
builder or even sometimes an auto parts shop they will know what to offer
you. I went for a # 7 or 8 . Sorry I did not save the #. Always change the
receiver/dryer as well. Also, make sure you have modified the mismatched
ducting and achieved enough air flow at the registers to better match the
needs of the Bricklin cockpit.
