David, more on car painting. I visited with a shop in Morgan today called Canyon collision (My son-in-law was having them do some work for them). He had three collector cars in his shop an mentioned that his first priority is the insurnace work. Next would be those paying full price for his work and then he takes restoration work for his slow times at an extreemly reduced rate for labor. Here is his information.

Russell Moore

His work for my son-in-law was excellent and he has a love for the old cars. Give him a call.

Does anyone recommend a good mechanic for fixing MG Midgets? It has electrical problems ( insert laughs here)

I am new to the BMCU and am excited to show this beautiful car off at the next event. I just need to get it running.

Thanks

I too have found Paco at Macco in Layton does excellent work. I have had my B repair/painting done very well. I recently had someone back into my A and Paco is repairing that car as well. He is fair and easy to work with. Frank M

David, first off, this is not a joke. I have had several cars painted by
the folks at MACCO at their Layton facility. Pacco runs the store there and
is a long time friend. Their "gun man" is one of the best that I have seen
and moonlights painting cars for one of the local (well known) car
collectors in town. The last car that they painted for me (1936 Hudson
Stratton Sport Saloon built in London, England by Coachcraft) was awarded
top honors at the Hudson National Meet in Oklahoma City a few years back.

I know we all joke about the "fast foods equivalent" of the discount body
shops, but you might want to check them out.

Does anyone paint cars or know of someone who paints cars on the side?
Austin Healey Sprite completely disassembled. I have the paint and reducers
etc.
