[Alpines] Zenith carb gaskets

I second this possibility.  I use a pressure regulator in the fuel line (set
at 1 psi) and I put in a different needle valve design (grose jet).  Never had
any oozing.

Are you sure your float level is not too high? Also, do you have correct
floats and correct fuel pressure?
