As Jarrid may point out,

The standard Alpine head is weak in exhaust flow,

that tends to limit power over 4000 RPM.

There are two things you can consider.

-Big exhaust valves (check / mod block clearance).

-Dual pattern cam with more exhaust duration. 

Both proven to be steps in the right direction.
