Thanks, Berry, and the rest of the group as well for your replies and
assistance.
I’ve ordered the correct bushing based on actual crank end measurements.
The correct one happens to fit several other Brit cars including the
Spitfire and GT6. Whatever the reason, my ‘75 2.5 liter TR6 cranks (BOTH
the one I removed and the one I installed to replace it) have the same size
crank opening requiring a size bushing other than the one included in the
LUK kit.
Here’s the latest photo of my progress:
I continue to be amazed at how quickly members respond when someone needs
