Just a thought-when you install the engine, pry it rearward before tightening the engine&trans. mounts. This provide enough clearance between the cross tube&damper to make removing&replacing the fan belt easier in the future.Berry

We just installed my engine 2 weeks ago. We loosely bolted both left and right hand mounts to the block, got it more or less lined up, and then bolted them to the body mounts. Keep everything loosey goosey until everything is lined up--then tighten them down.
