Has anybody heard of using a bigger bore slave cylinder to give your clutch system more advantage? I have the .75 clutch master as per recommendations when I put in my Luk/Gunst clutch combo from TRF a few years back. A stiff but strong and accurate clutch. I'd never heard of using an alternative slave until a LBC mechanic from more back in the day mentioned this to me the other week. He couldn't identify what other car might have a suitable donor for a TR6.
The other thing he mentioned was changing the clutch pins yearly. I believe these are made from better steel now, so are more robust and less likely to wear and cause lost motion.
Cheers and Thank you, Bruce Simms 73TR6
