If the top was up on my '6, most of the time I'd open the door and roll out on the ground. If it was down, I'd grab the windshield frame and hope my grip would hold out long enough for me to get upright. Jim Jones

Even in the Boston area it was too darn hot to ride without a/c....or slip under the car for just a bad u-joint. At least the Spit was good for a couple of drives but still not enough to wear in the rebuilt engine. So you think it's tough climbing out of a TR6....try a Spitfire!
